How can I dye my dark hair pink?
I have wanted to dye my hair pink for the longest time now, but I have really dark brown hair, so I might have to bleach it to get a decent outcome. Naturally, there is no way my parents will agree to that. I was wondering if there were any semi-permanent ways to dye dark hair pink, without any bleaching or expensive products. Preferably something that comes out in about 15+ washes.
the only way to get the pink you are wanting, you need to bleach your hair if your hair is dark enough to look black. Manic Panic has really bright colors (manicpanic.com/best_of_the_best shows all their colors.) on dark hair, you MIGHT get a subtle highlight that is only noticeable in good lighting. you can get Manic Panic at Sally’s stores. Sally’s also has spray in hair color that washes out after the first wash. which can actually be pretty good when you want to make extra sure that its the color you want. it gives the feel of hairspray so best bet is to style your hair then spray the pieces you want. other than that, for the color to be noticeable (which im sure is what you are going for), you are gonna have to bleach it. manic panic is semi permanent and can last a good while and is only about $4-6 and the spray is roughly $3-4 at Sally’s
