where can I get NON-ziploc freezer bags qts & 1/2 gals – twist ties don’t leak air in – zips do?
Hefty used to make pt., qt. , 1/2 gal, gal. etc thick plastic freezer bags that you seal by twisting, the top, bending it over, then twist tie it. Now all I find in those smaller sizes are zip lock bags that all leak air in at each end of the zip, which freezer burns my vegies etc. I used to use the old open top style, suck out the air, twist, tie and no leakage – ever! I can’t find the old style freezer bags anywhere. Anyone know of a supplier?
They are getting hard to find, aren’t they? I get mine at Kroger. It’s their store brand and they’re way cheaper than the zipper type bags.
