How many parents, like me, demand respect on mothers day and fathers day?
Just because I’m female does not mean I’m not a dad too. In our family, the father and I both take on dual roles, because we don’t want to fall in to the classic gender roles. On mothers day, my sons father will wear womens clothing and we both demand lots and lots of respect from our son. He caters to our every wish and demand.
I cannot wait until fathers day. I will mosey around the house in boxers and later that night, I will wear a suit as we go out to dinner for Fathers Day!
Who else does this?
I wear boxers on a near daily basis, no one told me there was a special day for this. I don’t demand respect, I try to earn it by being a good parent.
