Why is it impossible to shop in the Womens Dept?
I am 5 ft, 112 lbs. A cup, measurements 34″ 27″ 30″, in juniours I wear a size 5 pants, and a medium shirt, ( I have broad shoulders). I am 25 yrs old though, and mother of two, and sometimes I would like to dress like an adult. So in the Womens/Misses section it is practically impossible to find anything smaller then 6, and if I can find a sz 4, and its too loose, they Never have sz 2. Even the smallest blouse usually doesnt fit quite right. And is it just me, but it feels like if I shop in juniours I look like a whore, and if I shop in Womens/misses I feel like an old lady. I mostly shop at stores like Sears, Kohls , Ross. I always look through the petite section, but find the same ugly styles, and barely any sizes under 6. Yuck, all those pleated pants w/elastic waist bands. Am I shopping at the wrong places? I’d love to hear other opinions………
Try a better store! Your run-of-the-mill department stores won’t have a great selection. You might have to pay a bit more but it’s worth it for nicer clothes, right? ^_~ AS for specific stores…H&M is the first one I thought of, really nice stuff there but not too expensive…Also TJ Maxx is great and the prices are really low. And remember that you can get things tailored. Again, more expensive but worth it for nice clothes that will fit you well and last.
