Personally crafted ribbon roses?
My 2nd anniversary coincides with Valentine’s Day, and this year I thought I’d get creative. I’d never consider giving a girl fake flowers (she’s worth more than that), but in this case, I spent the past week learning and making folded ribbon roses. I’m planning on arranging them as a bouquet, but I thought it’d come as a surprise since she’s crafty, and I’m less than crafty. Much less.
I’m just looking for an opinion if any of the crafty folk out there would think this would go over well.
If she is crafty, and you are not I think that she would love them. You took time to learn something to do something just for her. That is special. Plus she can keep them forever unlike real flowers that get all dried out and dusty.
When my husband and I were still dating but engaged, he got me a bouquet of fake flowers that I needed to finish for a project for our wedding. I thought it was great cuz he made it just a little more special.
