How do I remove silicone glue off a shower wall?
I got one of those mounted shower soap dispensers (like this: http://www.amazon.com/Shower-Soap-Dispenser-Mirror-Cabinet/dp/B0007W7QF8/ref=sr_1_24/104-6223302-8143143?ie=UTF8&s=bedbath&qid=1172852544&sr=1-24). I put it up with the stick-ons and the silicone glue as it said in the directions, but I can’t figure out how to take it off now that I need to move! The directions don’t say anything about how to take off the silicone glue, and I know that’s what’s holding it on. Help?!
Go buy a thin blade putty knife. Push it behind the dispenser and it will help cut the silicone and the stickons. Once you get it off the wall use the putty knife or a razor blade to carefully scrape off any that’s left on the wall. Then use a product like Goof-off to remove the residue.
