We prefer not to use the iron on method. We would like to try the fabric sheets 8.5 x 11 that you can run through the bubble jet printer. Has anyone used this method and are there any tips or favorite brands of fabric sheets?
I make my own. I get white muslin or Egyptian cotton, the smoother the better. Treat it with Bubble Jet Set from http://dharmatrading.com . Iron it to a piece of freezer paper and cut it to page size. Tape the fabric and paper to a sheet of card stock by running a long piece of cellophane tape along the top. Do not tape the sides or bottom. Print your picture. You can re-use the card stock but not the freezer paper because there will be ink on it. Run the sheets through one at a time. After Printing, treat with Bubble Jet Rinse or white vinegar in water.

I want to make 12X12 inch quilt blocks and need some fun creative ideas. I have never done this before, but want to personalize each block. I couldn’t find any pieced lighthouse blocks that didn’t use foundation, but you could try creating your own. Make a simple rail fence block for the base and the background, then make a one seam flying geese for a pointy top. Add a square to either side to match the background, and you’re done.

I am knitting a baby blanket (want to knit one) for my neice for christmas, I’m a beginner, I haven’t done knitting since I was like 8 and did little rows with my grandmother. Step by step for me, as I am a beginner, and desperately need help with this. I can make rows, but where do I go from there. Can I use something in my home to substitue for the stitch markers.
