How do I get the colours on my tie dye to be very vivid?
I love to tie dye but my colours never turn out that bright. How do I get my colours so that they will be very vivid like a pro did it? Is there a certain brand of dye I need or a way to prepare the dye beforehand?
I’m not to sure about the types of dye, but I can suggest these few things:
1) Remember colouring eggs at Easter? The longer the egg stayed in the color cup/soup/whatever, the more bright and vibrant the color would be. Soak the clothing longer.
2) Lower the dye-to-water ratio. Less water will mean more dye, which will mean brighter colors. In theory at least.
