balsa wood model?
How do you make a model out of balsa wood? I’m trying to make a globe theatre (see my other question at http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AvpCYhhdrynaDJEgorlQvfXsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20080409175410AAc8Xxu) out of balsa wood. I also need to attach a hinge, and make thatching. I have a month.
use Zap glues. They are basically super glue. They are found at Hobby Lobby and at any local hobby shops. If there is an RC plane and car shop nearby try there. You can also buy some Kicker which when added to the glued piece it sets the glue instantly. This is found in the same places. Use this on the hinge as well.
